Outdoor Lifts
Product Overview
For the Anderson family, summer had always meant being outside. Their Northeastern home had a small backyard with a garden, a shaded patio, and a porch where everyone gathered on warm evenings. It was where Mr. Anderson drank his morning coffee, where the grandchildren played, and where the family spent long evenings together when the weather was nice. Over the past year, however, the steps leading from the house to the yard had become increasingly difficult for Mr. Anderson. He could still move around his home, but navigating the outdoor stairs had become something he thought twice about. Little by little, he started spending more time indoors. His favorite parts of the house—and his favorite parts of summer—were becoming harder to reach.

Project overview

The results
The difference was immediate. Mr. Anderson could once again head outside for his morning coffee, spend time tending to his garden, and join his grandchildren on the patio. His family felt more comfortable knowing he had an accessible way to get outside, while he appreciated being able to decide for himself when and where he wanted to go.

The results
That summer, the backyard became part of his daily routine again. The flowers bloomed, the grandchildren played, and the family gathered outside just as they always had. Sometimes, making a home more accessible isn't about changing where you live—it's about making sure you can continue enjoying all the places that make it home.
